Red Land Cotton's story is deeply rooted in the rich, red soil of North Alabama, where the Yeager family has been farming for generations. In 2015, farmer Mark Yeager and his daughter, Anna Brakefield, embarked on a visionary mission to bring cotton directly from their family farm to American homes as high-quality, heirloom-inspired linens. This unique "farm-to-bedding" approach was born from a desire to revitalize the American textile industry and offer consumers truly authentic, American-made products, reminiscent of the cherished linens of the past. Their dedication to quality, sustainability, and supporting U.S. manufacturing forms the very core of their brand.
Red Land Cotton proudly orchestrates its production entirely within the Southern United States. The journey begins on the Yeager family farm in Moulton, Alabama, where their cotton is grown and ginned on-site. From there, the cotton travels to various U.S. textile partners: yarn is spun in Virginia or Mississippi, fabric is woven in South Carolina or Maine, dyeing and finishing occur in facilities in Georgia or South Carolina, and the final cutting and sewing are done back home in Moulton, Alabama, Tylertown, Mississippi, Kansas City, Missouri, or New York, New York. This multi-state American network ensures every step of the process, from seed to stitch, remains within the USA.
