NuuSol was founded in 2017 by Tony and Chance Stevenson, owners of High Country Plastics in Caldwell, Idaho. Their journey into footwear began when a significant manufacturing contract was lost to overseas competition. With decades of experience in manufacturing, distribution, and sales, they saw an opportunity to pivot and create a footwear brand built on four core values: comfort, style, affordability, and, crucially, being Made in the USA. Since their first sale in 2018, NuuSol has rapidly grown, proving that high-quality, comfortable footwear can indeed be produced domestically while also giving back to communities through partnerships like Soles4Souls.
NuuSol proudly manufactures every pair of its sandals and clogs in the United States, specifically in Ontario, Oregon. The company emphasizes that their entire production process, from crafting their proprietary EVASOLâ„¢ foam to the molding, assembly, and final testing, takes place in their American facilities. This hands-on, localized approach allows NuuSol to maintain stringent quality control, ensuring that each shoe meets their high standards for comfort, durability, and support. By keeping production domestic, they not only contribute to the local economy but also ensure consistent inventory and efficient supply chains.
